Certified Organic – the cocoa beans come from the green hills of the Idukki region in India. The GoGround team is headed by Ellen and Luca, a husband-and-wife team with an engineering background and a passion for creating change in rural communities. With support from the Italian RIVA foundation, GoGround set out to build a dedicated fermentation and drying center in Udumbannoor, Idukki, India.

Fjåk source high quality cacao beans from exciting origins, the result is an amazing organic Nordic chocolate which will be blended with the most precious ingredients from the Norwegian nature.
Fjåk is the first bean-to-bar chocolate maker in Norway, and owned and run by two women, Siv and Agur. At Fjåk all of the chocolate is handcrafted in small batches – from the bean to the bar. Fjåk aims is to develop the unique characteristics of single origin cocoa, by using as few ingredients as possible and by controlling the whole chocolate-making process. They roast, crack, winnow, grind, conch and temper the finest quality beans – by themselves at their little factory by the fjord. They wish everyone to enjoy a full-flavoured chocolate experience!
Fjåk took its name from the Hardanger dialect, where people of a certain generation in the region would refer to each other as ‘fjåk. Roughly translating to ‘loveable’ or ‘honest’, Agur and Siv felt there was no other name better suited for their chocolate vocation. As chocolate is, after all, “the most loveable thing in the world”.
At the 2018 Academy of Chocolate awards, Fjak made a powerful first impression, winning Best Newcomer amongst other Gold, Silver and Bronze awards. Fjak also took away six stars at the Great Taste Awards 2018 – the first Great Taste it entered – with the 70% Madagascar being awarded three stars.
Fjåk’s Mission is to be THE Norwegian craft chocolate maker, combining a Nordic touch to the international craft chocolate community. Working with fine quality organic cocoa and small farmers, to show our customers, especially in the Nordic countries, the diversity that real chocolate can bring.
Fjåk make several single outstanding origin bars which belong to our favorites. In addition they make a 'Nordic' range. These blow your mind! We can recommend their most popular bar: the Milk and Brown Cheese. This bar leaves no one indifferent, you love it or you love it! To make it they roast the milk until it caramelised and make the nicest caramelised milk chocolate with cocoa beans from PISA - Produits des Iles S.A. Later they add goat brown cheese from Undredal Stølsysteri SA and a pinch of North Sea salt from North Sea Salt Works. AMAZING! A must try!
